After a couple sick days, then a weekend crash, it’s easy fall behind. And once you’re behind, it’s easy to just quit.
That is until you remember why you started whatever endeavor you’re about to give up on.
If that why is strong, at least stronger that whatever sidelined you, then the marathon continues.
I hear that phrase, “the marathon continues,” all the time, but the more salient references come from the late Nipsey Hussle.
His Wiki page reads “an American rapper”. However, he was more like a motivational speaker — one who could make his speeches rhyme over really nice beats.
Anyways, a theme which Nipsey often touched upon is that life is a marathon. And until you’re done running, the marathon continues.
